The evolution of the plans, construction and redeveloped plans for the transit loop and later the remaining tunnels is indicative of the planning process of large transit projects in the 20th century, a subject worthy of study.If you are from Cincinnati, you probably have heard that the subway was built too small, poorly planned or just that the city ran out of money. But the real reasons are things like wartime material prices, political upheavals and changes in the laws that made bond issuance impossible. Very informative and highly recommended.

Everytime this town comes up with a good idea some Republican rises up to kill it.
Boring! Too much about votes, politicians, starts and stops. Don't know why I bought it. Way too dry a read unless you like to read city council notes and such.
