I knew of The Holy Spirit before and had been baptized by Him. I knew He was a part of God, but I didn't understand Him. He was more of a "thing" than a person to me. This book has completely opened my eyes. I found myself weeping and having encounters with The Holy Spirit in several parts of the book. I'm so thankful for God to use Benny to write this book, and for leading me to it. I have a new best friend: The Holy Spirit.
Reading it as a real person, while knowing the Holy Spirit is a "Real Person" brought it to a new level. By no means is it eloquent, but then it wouldn't have been a genuine testimony. Got one for myself and one for my mom. We both loved it. Especially loved the intimacy with God while reading it.Great gift for someone who is going through a difficult time, because it reminds them Someone does Love them with relentless unconditional Love we all know we were created to have and do seek to fill everyday. & not just "someone" but the Only One that can really make all the difference- inside and out. Helps open up your eyes to a greater level of God, emphasizing the fact that there is no level of "stop" when you are seeking Him. It brings God forefront and center. But once one can speak to self and say no, then one wins.
I began to feel a conviction in my heart when I understood that the Holy Spirit was just as important as the Father and the Son in the Trinity, but I wasn't treating Him that way, not at home. I acknowledged Him at church in song, b it not at home. Now I do. He is my guide, comfort and He teaches me how to pray. Thank you Holy Spirit.
I ordered a bunch of these books because my church is doing a school using this book along with the Bible. The content is the same as the original version the only difference are the questions at the end of each chapter which is a plus. Great to use with a study group.The print is very small and fine. This is why I gave it 4 stars.
Holu spirit led me to read this incredible book again and I'm so thankful. It's this book that taught me about the Holy Spirit. He is a beautiful person and He opens this door to know Him to every heart that is seeking true worship and to know Jesus better.
This book is a must read regardless of how long you have been a Christian. Benny Hinn reveals what the Bible speaks re the Holy Spirit in a way every single person reading this book can understand. I have just finished reading and I am going right back and read it again. Take notes while reading
